Position Summary:

Looking for a meaningful role where your organizational skills can directly shape a vibrant campus culture? Join our collaborative, supportive team! The Administrative Assistant keeps the Center for Student Involvement running smoothly by handling day-to-day office operations and supporting the Senior Director, staff, and students.

The primary purpose of the Administrative Assistant is to ensure the Center for Student Involvement runs smoothly by balancing front-facing customer service with behind-the-scenes logistics. The role supports the Senior Director, staff, and students by managing daily office operations, coordinating student travel, executing financial/p-card reconciliations, and securely maintaining confidential student and employment records in compliance with university guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
3 years of full-time administrative support experience in a professional office environment.
Experience protecting and maintaining confidential information.
Ability to work effectively as a part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Documents.
Excellent written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities by planning and organizing work in observance of deadlines.
Ability to draft documents independently and proofread documents for errors.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work within established procedures and guidelines.
Ability to learn and utilize new processes and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

Demonstrated ability to engage effectively, respectfully, and professionally with multiple constituents at all levels in an organization, including undergraduate students, graduate students, staff, faculty, alumni, parents, and guests.
Experience with Banner or similar student information systems.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Knowledge of and sensitivity to Catholic and Marianist educational values.
