The Senior Associate Director of Leadership and Student Organizational Development provides strategic leadership and policy governance for student organization and leadership development initiatives within the Center for Student Involvement. The Senior Associate Director will also work collaboratively across campus to integrate leadership development principles into experiential learning opportunities for students. This position is responsible for supervising professional staff, managing the university’s student organization recognition and risk framework (including compliance with legal and safety standards), and directing a wide range of leadership programs and initiatives. The Senior Associate Director also manages the Leadership in Service Scholarship program, liaises on organizational conduct matters, and leads efforts in fundraising and assessment. This role reports to the Assistant Dean of Students and Senior Director of the Center for Student Involvement. The Senior Associate Director serves as a key member of the department leadership team and represents the Center in the absence of the Senior Director.

| Minimum Qualifications: |
Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, leadership education, or a related field. A minimum of three years of professional experience in student organization advising, including oversight of student organization governance, policy development, and high-risk event management. Proven ability to design, implement, and assess comprehensive, campus-wide programs. Strong knowledge of current trends in student organization risk mitigation, leadership development, and experiential learning. Exceptional skills in communication, collaboration, and working with a diverse student population. Supervision experience of graduate or professional staff. Evening and weekend availability as necessary.

| Preferred Qualifications: |
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Five or more years of professional experience in student organization advising, including oversight of student organization governance, policy development, and high-risk event management. Demonstrated experience in leadership program development. Demonstrated experience navigating complex institutional policies, including student travel, contract review, and campus safety protocols. Minimum of two years of direct professional staff supervision, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop mid-level professionals. Experience working with student organization conduct. Demonstrated experience with program assessment cycle. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational skills . Ability to communicate effectively with variety constituents (faculty, staff, and students). Experience with grant writing, fundraising, sponsorships, or revenue generation. Understanding of and support for the values and perspectives of a Catholic and Marianist educational environment. Ability to promote inclusive excellence in the workplace.
